A companion for our puppy
We have a 8 month old Kelpie puppy, who receives a lot of attention at home. We are thinking about getting another puppy as a companion for the original puppy, however are not sure whether this is a good idea or not, given our 8 month old puppy has not had much exposure to other dogs, and is quite spoilt.

Answer: A companion for our puppy
It's all really a matter of personal choice, although you must be aware of what you will be up against with two dogs. It is important that your existing pooch is fully trained and respects you as master. Once the new pup comes along he / she will look to your original dog as master! So you must be aware that lots of training and patience will be involved to ensure you rule the roost. Other wise two dogs can get seriously out of control!
