trainer wanted,melbourne vic

hi,my name is danny. i would like to know if there is anywhere in melbourne that i can take my dog to,to be trained by a professional dog trainer.as i dont have the time to train him.all im looking for is basic obediance training. and how much would it cost and would i have to leave my dog there for a week or two while he was learning. any infomation on this subject would be helpful and apprecited,thank you. danny.

Danny, even thought people will tell you this is a effective method ? you have to be completly involved in your dogs training. Training is much more than just, sit, stay, come etc ? training develops the master, pack hiarchy which is essential in order to control and bond with your dog. All the dogs I have seen that have been ?sent away? for 2 ? 3 weeks training, have come back none the better. It really has to be you. I know it seems daunting, I would suggest you contact your local vet to see if they know of any group training sessions on weekends. This would be the best way to go.
