Jack Russell wees on my bed and couch! Melb (vic

I have a lovely female Jack Russell who is 15 months old. The last few months she has taken to going into my bedroom and weeing on my side of the bed! Last night, after being outside for a wee - she came straight in and weed on the couch! She normally sleeps in the laundry and we let her in the house at night time. What can we do to train her? Is she trying to tell me something? Often when this occurs she has had extra attention that day which is very hard to explain. My husband doesn't want her in the house at all now. Please help and thankyou.

Firstly, making her a outside dog wont help at all. I think you need to adapt a routine that will suit you all perfectly and have her area?s very clearly marked for her. Find a spot central to your home e.g. lounge room that can become her spot. Research positive crate training on the web, and invest in a nice crate and fill it with comfy blankets, toys, treats and all things wonderful. Feed her a few meals there and make her feel at home. Never treat it as a sin bin!! With her special place in your home she should become less possessive over other areas. Good luck! Love thy Jack!
