12 month old black labrador x german pointer plus clothesline = ?

Hi Bec, I have a 12month old black labrador x german pointer called Max who has after a 4 month break started to pull the washing off the clothesline again. He started doing it not long after we got him but then just stopped doing it just before xmas. I was over the moon, but then the other day he just started doing it again. I don't know what to do to stop him. Can you help? Thanks Angela

I would assume Max is bored and that he thinks this is a great game! Firstly, get Max exercising as much as you can. Even consider a dog walker. You could get one of those little kiddy clam shell pools and fill it with sand or dirt, you can bury toys, treats and bones for Max to play in. You can even punch some holes in a milk carton and chuck some treats in it, this may keep him entertained for more than 60 seconds. Basically, make your back yard a fun place for him where there is lots to do and sniff. It may help.
