Problem walking 2 dogs
Hi, We have an 8 year old small, desexed, rescue bitch who is very excitable and a laid back "you can do anything you want with me - usually" standard poodle male. We are finding it impossible to walk the two dogs together on leads. The small dog is rarely on a lead, except when we leave the property, and the poodle is always on a lead outside of the yard. When we have tried to walk the two the poodle goes absolutely insane as soon as the small one is on a lead. He pulls to the point of making himself sick and we have now given up going for walks as a family. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Answer: Problem walking 2 dogs
I think you defiantly need to invest in a ?Gentle Leader? (do a google search to see what they are all about), this will give take pressure of his neck and give you more control. Separate both dogs 10 minutes before walkies time and put on their leads on with out the other seeing. Have your poodle walk in front of your little one, and practice basic training commands with both dogs while walking. Basically, do what you can to divert the attention of your poodle while walking. Lots of yummy treats and basic training should help.
