seven month old Great Dane x likes to greet

I have seven month old Great Dane x, she walks on leash beautifully until we cross paths with human or dog and she just wants to jump up and greet them, undesireable to humans, and sometimes turns nasty with other dogs

You might like to purchase a 'gentle leader' from your pet shop. It attaches under the dogs chin, so it gives you better control. Also, take some treats out with you on your walk to distract him or encourage him to not hug people. I think some Danes are aware of their size, hence you need to do lots of training with them. Possibly consider regular one on one training with a professional?
