SHAKING MALTESE CROSS TERRIER PUPPY WHILE ASLEEP

i dont really know how old my puppy is i think she might be 3- 6months...she kind of shakes in her sleep and whimpers every now and then...is this serious...???

This is most probably a dream. My boyfriend and I crack up at Jimbo when he sleeps, as he will bark (mini barks), wag his tail, and do all sorts of things in his sleep. In these instances he / they are dreaming. If you notice symmetrical movements, 'paddeling' with the feet or automatisms, it may be a seizure of some sort. Probably best to discuss with your vet just to be sure.
