About to lose my Doggy care
I am desperate for any advise, I have a child Bella other humans call her a dog, a Shih Tzu, perfect in every way, except when I go away which is not often, but my mother looks after her, and Bella loves being there but tries to chase after the cat and never leaves it alone, I am about to lose my doggy care, do you have any advise at all, the cat does not try to bother her, but as soon as Bella see's her chases her up the nearest tree. The cat was their first so it's Bella that has to be trained into line. Would truly love your help for any training tips that have really worked that I could work on Regards Deborah

Answer: About to lose my Doggy care
You need to look at basic training techniques here. Introduce the cat while Bella is on the lead. Have Bella sit and stay, while the cat is in sight. Offer her some super tasty treats. Keep her under control on the lead, and increase the amount of time the poor kitty in question is in view. You could also try purchasing a crate for Bella so she can observe and get used to the cat from a safe distance. Good luck!
