digging dog

My border collie dog keeps scratching at the floors. She has only just started to do this, Its always in the same 3 places. By our front door, in the bathroom and in the kitchen. They are all lino. Please help.

As I always say, I consider Collies to be the most intelligent dog. Regardless of the actual cause, you need to correct the behavior. Try catching her in the act, diverting her attention and then encouraging a exciting game of catch, or a raw hide chew, or a new toy. So give her something new that she can take her frustrations and energy out on. If it is due to slight anxiety you might want to speak to your vet about a short period of medication.
