April is here, the kids are coming out of school and the Easter Bunny is getting eggs ready to deliver.

When I was a kid our dog ate one of the three large 'football size' Easter Eggs hidden in the hedge of a foggy New Zealand morning. I was quick to decide that the dog had eaten the giant egg of my four year old brother - leaving mine and my sister's still intact. I think Mum over ruled that decision.

We all know that dogs shouldn't have chocolate - but they can still enjoy Easter. Don't leave your dog all alone while you go away for the long weekend - if you can't take your dog with you - at least get a dog walker or pet sitter (visits your home) or dog minder (minded in someone else home) - so they are not all bored and lonely while you are away having fun.
