Sharpei with a good owner are very quiet,friendly happy dogs. The Sharpei as for most breeds is for the committed owner that likes to spend time with there dogs,They are very clean and intelligent,A nice medium sized breed. Its important to make sure your Sharpei has nice healthy clear eyes and be free of fleas and parasites. The Sharpei thrives on a all natural,no preservative,low protien diet of around 15%.
