About my dog breed
The Akita is a large dog and is not the breed for everyone. Japanese in heratige they were almost extinct after the last world war. Very loyal to his own family and pack but wary of strangers. The Akita is a very intelligent dog. He can become bored with regimental training very quickly so patience and understanding is required. For people that want a friend for life that has a personality of its own, this is the dog.
