Answer: Months of blood in stool ..jelly form
This can be due to multiple reasons. If the blood looks fresh and is bright red this can indicate that it is coming from the end of the digestive system, e.g the bowels. If it looks 'processed' and is a deep, dried looking brown/red - this could indicate it is coming further up in the digestive system. It could also be from something as simple as straining when defecating. Even if you get insurance, I tend to think you wont be able to claim on 'pre- existing illness's. Regardless, I don't think this is something you should sit on and hope that it will clear itself up. If you are worried about finances, some of the vets I know of do offer installments and time to pay. Have a chat to your vet, and see what he or she can advise or offer you. Hope your pooch gets better soon (I love Aus Terriers!)
